Anyone else having issues with the free domain offer at checkout?

P PriyaS 2 months ago
Yeah, I tried to grab a .in domain with my shared hosting plan and it just kept charging me for it. Had to remove it.

A AmitG 2 months ago
Same. Thought I was doing something wrong.

D DeepakM 2 months ago
Mine worked eventually after refreshing like 5 times.

S SnehaR 2 months ago
It worked for me but only after I picked a specific TLD. Some aren't actually free.
11
S SnehaR 2 months ago
.com worked, but .org didn't.

Which TLD worked for you?

My website migration is taking forever. Is this normal?

R RohanK 2 months ago ✓ Best Answer
Contact support. Sometimes they just need a nudge.

V VikramJ 2 months ago
I did, waiting on a reply now.

P PoojaD 2 months ago
Good luck! Their support can be a bit slow sometimes.
7
A AnjaliP 2 months ago
Depends on your site size. Mine took about 24 hours for a decent sized WordPress site.

A AnjaliP 2 months ago
Did you provide all the details right away?
1
V VikramJ 2 months ago
Mine is pretty small, still waiting after 3 days.

Billing question: got charged for an SSL Certificate even though it said 'free' with hosting.

G GauriH 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Definitely contact their billing support. Sounds like a mistake.

P PriyaD 1 month ago
Hope they fix it for you quickly.
7
D DeepakM 1 month ago
Already did. Waiting on a reply.
1
S SumanB 1 month ago
Was it a basic SSL or a premium one? Sometimes the free one is specific.
2
D DeepakM 1 month ago
It was just the standard Let's Encrypt type, should've been included.
6
R RajeshC 1 month ago
Mine was automatically applied, no extra charge.

My website is super slow after moving to their shared hosting. Any tips?

R RinaP 1 month ago
Are you using their SSD Hosting? That usually helps a lot with speed.
7
A AditiS 1 month ago
I think so? I'll check my plan details.
3
M MohitK 1 month ago
Could be too many plugins if it's WordPress. Also, check if you're on a very basic shared plan.
12
A AditiS 1 month ago
It's a simple HTML site. I'm on their cheapest plan though.

Trying to cancel my subscription but the option isn't showing up in my account.

M MeenaK 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
You might have to open a support ticket for cancellations. Some hosts make it difficult to find.
11
S SureshP 1 month ago
Yeah, it's a common tactic to keep you subscribed.
1
A ArjunS 1 month ago
Seriously? That's annoying.
5
N NishaG 1 month ago
Check if your billing cycle is already renewed. If it is, you might be out of luck for this period.
6
A ArjunS 1 month ago
It's not renewed yet. I'm still within the period.

My coupon code for WordPress hosting isn't applying at checkout. It's a valid code.

A AnkitR 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I had to clear my browser cache and try again for mine to work. Might be a cookie issue.
13
K KartikB 1 month ago
Oh, good idea. Will try that now.
3
P PriyaL 1 month ago
Sometimes changing browsers helps too.
8
D DivyaS 1 month ago
Check the terms of the coupon. Sometimes they're for new customers only or specific plans.
2
K KartikB 1 month ago
I'm a new customer and it's for WP hosting. Still nothing.

G GautamP 1 month ago
Are you accidentally trying to apply it to a renewal?

Can't log into cPanel after changing my main account password. Anyone else?

S SanjayL 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Yeah, the cPanel password is often separate. Check your welcome email for the original details.
7
N NehaT 1 month ago
Mine didn't sync either, had to reset it from the client area.
5
K KavitaM 1 month ago
Oh, really? I thought it syncs. Thanks!
8
A AlokV 1 month ago
I had to use the 'reset cPanel password' option in their main client area. Logging out and in didn't help.
9
K KavitaM 1 month ago
That's what I ended up doing. Worked.

My email hosting isn't receiving emails. Sent a test and it bounced back.

P PranavT 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Check your MX records in cPanel. They might be pointing to the wrong place.
17
A AishaK 1 month ago
Definitely. MX records need to be updated after a domain transfer.
6
S SwatiN 1 month ago
Oh, I just moved my domain. Could that be it?
2
K KiranS 1 month ago
Could also be a firewall issue or spam filter on their end. Contact support if MX records are fine.
12
S SwatiN 1 month ago
I'll check the MX records first then support. Thanks!
